Belgium, Kingdom. An Order Of Leopold, Ii Class Grand Officer's Star, By G. Wolfers, C.1900 Buy Now and white enamels(Dutch: Leopoldsorde, French: Ordre de Lopold). Instituted in 1832. Type I. (1832 1951 Issue). A silver cross featuring scaled arms and ball finials, with five emanating smooth rays in each quadrant, centre obverse bears a silver gilt rampant lion on a black enamel medallion, with a silver gilt ring bordering the red enamel surround inscribed LUNION FAIT LA FORCE (Unity is Strength), with a delicately tooled thin silver gilt surround, centre reverse
